The Maker Vault @ RCBI Huntington!

In response to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and in keeping with federal and state guidelines, effective Thursday, March 19, the Maker Vault will no longer be open after 5 p.m.
     Further, the Maker Vault and Innovation Center at RCBI cannot host in-person gatherings, or group events or workshops until further notice. Individual members, in accordance with capacity and social-distancing guidelines provided by advising authorities -- and in accordance with Marshall University guidelines --, may continue to access Maker Vault spaces and equipment.
     If these changes affect your ability to access our facility, we recommend you temporarily suspend your monthly recurring membership until we can resume our regular operating hours. You can do this by clicking “Login” from the menu at the top of the page, or click here.

RCBI’s Maker Vault provides the community with a space to experiment, develop, and learn through self-led projects and group workshops. Making high-end professional equipment and materials accessible for all, the Maker Vault extends RCBI’s support of innovation and entrepreneurship; and gives a retired bank vault new life as a repository of ideas and creativity.

With a Maker Vault membership, you receive access to our high-end, professional equipment as well as:

  • Expert training and assistance for all equipment
  • Access to Maker Vault classes and workshops
  • Access to materials and supplies to build your creations

Memberships are $24 a month for adults and $14 for students, educators, veterans, and first-responders.

The lead-up to this year's Virtual Video-Submission-Based Festival included a series of Maker Master Classes to help you hone your maker-skills, develop your ideas, and produce a competitive entry for cash and membership prizes for youth and engineering and development prizes for contestants!
