Project Summary: Create an app for livestock producers that would aid them in vaccination timing, weather, and handling, to improve efficacy of the vaccines being used. The app would also provide booster details and withdrawal dates to prevent meat or milk contamination.

Problem Statement: Livestock producers often use vaccines to protect their livestock from certain diseases. Unfortunately, vaccine efficacy is less than desired at times because of timing related to weather and mishandling. Vaccine failure results in sick cattle and significant production loss.

Solution Statement: With appropriate guidance of the app, an increase in vaccine efficacy can be achieved. The app will link weather data so animals are processed in the cooler times of the day or on the cooler days as well as providing tips to avoid vaccine failure.

Impact Statement: The impact will be increase in production of the livestock, increase profit of each animal, and decrease antibiotic use on the farm or feedlot. The app will also be an educational tool to teach producers best practice management tools with vaccinations.

Project Summary: My business falls under the natural resources there was 3,099 bears killed in 2019 10% below the number of bears killed in 2018. This product will help you kill more bears than in the past years. The problem that we face is when there is no snow you can turn loose on snow you can turn loose on small bears and when there is snow you know the size of the bear you turn loose on. My product will fix it when there’s no snow it will pick up the heat from where an animal walked so you can see how big it is. You will also be able to see if it’s a little bear you won’t turn loose on it. Which will save the Bears. It helps the environment because small bears can grow and you can use it to take out predators so if you want to kill big bears then you have to buy my product.

Problem Statement: The problem is when there’s no snow you can’t track the bear You turned lose on and you don’t know how big it is or how small it is or even if it’s a bear

Solution Statement: My product shows you how big the track is and how old and what it is

Impact Statement: Hunters will be able to kill more bears more efficiently and trappers will be able to trap more animals quicker

Project Summary: My entry is a invention where its an automatic deer skinner. It has 3 wire cables with clamps at the end that clamp to the hide of your deer it The three cables then run down to a metal bar that is attached to a single cable that leads to a winch that pulls the hide down.

Solution Statement: They use my invention so they don’t get hurt or have pack pain

Impact Statement: More people would skin their own deer

Project Summary: Do you have an tree in your yard that makes a mess with falling acorns and leaves? This invention can solve that problem. This is a mat that will wrap around the tree’s trunk, like a funnel, right below the limbs. The point of this is to catch the objects that would normally fall onto the ground and direct them to a different area. Falling acorns can hit you or you could slip on them while walking, which is very dangerous. It is marketed towards older people or people who don’t don’t want to have to clean up the mess.

Problem Statement: My reasoning for this invention is to reduce the amount of acorns, limbs, and leaves on the ground under the tree. Safety is the main reason for this. Those objects can fall out of the tree at any moment and you won’t know until it hits you. The acorns on the ground can be slick, because they could roll underneath of you as you’re walking. This will also solve the problem of the mess. There will be no mess to clean up underneath the tree if the objects are directed somewhere else

Solution Statement: This idea can reduce the amount of objects that would fall onto the ground. Acorns wouldn’t be able to fall and hit you if they are caught and directed somewhere else. Another Solution for this invention is to avoid having to clean up the mess the tree makes. Nobody wants to have to clean up the leaves and twigs to carry them somewhere else. Lastly, this can help by the acorns will not be on the ground so you are less likely to roll and fall on them.

Impact Statement:
Safety- The objects falling from the tree would normally fall and hit you if you didn’t have the net there to catch them
Environment- Instead of taking the whole tree out of your yard because you don’t like the mess, you could use this invention to avoid cleaning up the mess and removing the tree.
Time/ Family- This product can reduce time wasted spent on raking and transporting leaves a and such. Your family will also be much safer because there will not be a risk of objects falling on them.

Project Summary: The flip-o-fork is designed to resemble a tradition set of tractor or forklift forks. It has a hydraulic switch within the fork, however, that allows it to flip up once the forks have been run through the skid. This secures the skid and keeps the products on the skid from falling incase you make a wrong decision, or if your hydraulics from your tractor bucket were to leak off.

Problem Statement: The flip-o-fork is designed to resemble a tradition set of tractor or forklift forks. It has a hydraulic switch within the fork, however, that allows it to flip up once the forks have been run through the skid. This secures the skid and keeps the products on the skid from falling incase you make a wrong decision, or if your hydraulics from your tractor bucket were to leak off.

Solution Statement: The flip-o-fork is an attachment that can be added to any existing tractor or forklift. They are designed with slightly longer forks, that can then be flipped up into a locking position due to a hydraulic line that is built into the actual forks themselves. Once the forks are inserted into the skid, you hit the switch, and the last section of forks will flip up and lock. This secures your load and keeps it from sliding forward.

Impact Statement: The main use of this could be in lumber yards or warehouses where products are being loaded, unloaded, and moved around. Forks also are fairly popular on the farm as well, and this could be a product that farmers and industry professionals would both be interested in.

Project Summary: The average age of a hunter now a day is 50 years old. They are getting to the age where they forget where all the birds roost and nest. The Bird Finder is a prototype that makes it to where you don’t half to remember where they are. If you get this it would be a perfect gift for your grandfather for when he starts to loose his memory. The Bird Finder is perfect for marking down all your old and secret hunting spots.

Problem Statement: When you download my app you use it for finding birds. This does not tell your where they are until you flush them. You will like this app because when you flush a bird you mark that spot down so you can come back to it. People will use this for other things too not just birds they could use it to mark fishing spots or where bucks are bedding down. Not just any person will use it this is for people that hunt and fish.

Solution Statement: This app is for helping you remember where birds are roosting and nesting. If you have trouble remembering where your property lines are then this app shows where your property ends. This app has a full map that shows all the thick brush and heavy timber. If you don’t have this app then you don’t have all the great detail that you could have. If you don’t want this app then you wont have the access to the big map like others.

Impact Statement: This app is way safer because you don’t half to worry about going off your property and taking a chance of getting shot. This app really helps with the environment because it will help manage the population with the wildlife to where there is not too many in one area. This app does nit take much time at all because all you do is download the app out for a hunt. This does not take you away from your family anymore than normal hunting.
